This assignment assesses your ability to draw conclusions about the differences between monolithic and personalized learning models, determine the consequences and implications of personalized learning and to develop recommendations for designing a personalized learning environment. This assignment also assesses your ability to evaluate instructional design projects, analyze the principles of instruction, apply theories of motivation and performance to instructional design, and analyzeemerging  instructional design technologies. Before completing this assignment, review the “Grading Rubric” and the Week Five “Instructor Guidance” page.
 
Instructions: Submit a document that is three-to-four pages, not including the title and references pages, addressing each item in the list below with support from the Reiser and Dempsey (2012) textbook, the American Institutes for Research (2013), Ashmana, et al (2014), and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (2014) articles, and at least one other scholarly source. If you have questions about the expectations for drawing conclusions and determining consequences and implications, constructing and presenting recommendations, written communication, and APA formatting in the “Grading Rubric,” please post your questions in the “Ask Your Instructor” Discussion before the due date.

2. Determine the consequences and implications of personalized learning. Ensure your determinations consider assumptions, data, evidence, and contexts related to personalized learning.
 
3. Develop at least three recommendations for designing personalized learning environments. Ensure your recommendations are constructed in a convincing, logically supported fashion and justified with evidence from credible (i.e., scholarly) sources.
